Sharing this important message (thank you to gigsANDtours.com for this great overview);
‘On Thursday 2nd July, the UK music industry comes together under the banner of #LetTheMusicPlay in order to highlight the crisis faced by the live music sector. The purpose of the campaign is to make as loud a noise as possible to ensure the Government gets the message that the UK live music industry must be protected.
The first stage of the campaign is a letter to secretary of state for DCMS Oliver Dowden which now has signatures from hundreds of artists including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Take That, Sam Smith, Beverley Knight, Eric Clapton, Muse etc, alongside thousands of crew.
But the main event needs everyone to get involved. We need to protect our venues, our workforce, and the infrastructure and companies that make up this business. Please share photos/ videos on social media of the last gig you went to using the hashtag #LetTheMusicPlay
The Live music industry added £4.5bn to the economy in 2019 and supported 210,000 jobs across the country.
Up to 50% of the live music industry’s workforce is facing unemployment, leading to a catastrophic loss of skills.
The UK is home to the most popular arenas in the world yet they are set to lose five million visitors due to COVID-19.
Music festivals support 85,000 jobs, but with the entire summer cancelled, many are currently facing collapse.
90% of grassroots music venues are under threat of closure. They need a £50 million cash injection to ensure they do not go out of business.’

Hello to all,
As everyone is aware, the current worldwide Coronvirus (Covid-19) concern is having a far reaching impact to all of our daily lives as well as our businesses.
It’s impact on the music industry along with global travel has made it necessary to postpone our GO NOW! US tour until a later date.
We’ll be sharing updates as they become available for all of our upcoming UK gigs as well. Please check back here in addition to all of our other digital platforms for this information.
And most importantly, we wish you good health and peace of mind during this challenging time.

One of the greatest things a drummer can experience is someone setting their kit up. Thank you Pic!
GO NOW! will kick off their 2020 tour on 5th of March at The Albany Theatre in Coventry (UK).
The band has a very exciting schedule this year that includes dates in both the UK and US.

Recently Gordy did a very enjoyable interview with Christian Wolf for an upcoming GO NOW! show in Torrance California on April 11.
His dog Harley barked in the background halfway through and that got more comments than anything he said about the upcoming dates!
So as she stole the show… Here she is!
Oh and in case you’re interested here is the interview as well:
It’s been a long haul getting visas, but Nick and Patrick now have theirs. It’s great when the efforts of an entire team come together… Management, musicians, friends, family, Gordy’s dog Harley! It may seem like just a group of guys on stage, but there’s so much activity behind-the-scenes to make it all happen.
Legend of a Band Productions is proud to announce some VERY exciting news!
